How do you remove a fuel gauge from the dashboard of a Bayliner Capri?

I need to remove the dashboard so that I can do some maintenance to the gas gauge and speed odometer.

The first step in removing the fuel gauge is to remove the screws are attached to the sides of the Bayliner Capri gas intake. After you detach the screws you should be able to easily remove the gauge and replace it.

The fuel gauge, odometer, ect. are installed by drilling with a hole saw,coating the edge of the hole with silicone sealer, feeding the wires through and setting the guage in place. The wires are then connected to the 12 volt system. To uninstall, reverse these actions.

There are some screws that are attached to the sides of the Bayliner Capri gas intake. After you detach the screws you should be able to remove the gauge and replace when needed.

You should be able to pop off the cap and there is a screw off the the center where the middle of the capri which should be shown from the control panel.
