Just find a large enough section of the bedroom wall. Prime it and then paint some branches and leaves, as if the wall itself is the tree.

You could draw a tree house on the wall and paint it or you could simulate a tree house by painting a large tree with clouds, puppies, kitties, bugs, and things, and then place the bed in the middle of the picture, which would make it more personal and unique.

The best way is to use student's acrylic paint. It comes in many colors, reasonably priced in plastic bottles. Make a small design on paper first. Keep it simple, like a coloring book. Get the right paint, pencil your design onto the wall first, then paint colors first, using a 1" brush. Finish with black outlines using 1/2" brush.
