How do you mount boards to a cement wall?

I want to hang up some things on a cement wall.

You will need masonry drill bits to penetrate the cement wall, and then you will need masonry wall anchors so that you can hang your things on the wall.

For lightweight decorative items, a few beads of construction adhesive should do the trick. You just need to keep the item from moving until the adhesive sets. For heavier/load-bearing items, your local hardware store should have a selection of suitable concrete anchors. They may also be able to rent you the hammer drill necesarry to install them.

First make holes on wall using drills. Then insert plastic plugs into it. After piercing boards in correct sizes of such holes, screw board on the wall.

You can take advantage of the fact that few people have cement ceilings and floors. A strip of lathe can run from floor to ceiling providing something to support glue/nails.

Well the sell special screws for screwing into cement. It is also a good idea to drill a smaller pilot hole to drive them easier.
