In your email invitation, highlight "To:" and include all 50 guests. In this email, ask each guest to RSVP by replying to the email. Forwarding the email will not work. In the reply message, they will type their name to a list of "people attending" and they will resend this email to all recipients on the original email.

It's simple enough to copy and paste the names into the email invitation. However, it's standard for calendar applications to show the invitees in the "To" and "Cc" fields.

There are many online programs that will allow you to do this. On facebook, you can create an invite and allow other party invitees see who has rsvp'd.

You can make an email invitation by creating one depending on what type of email you have. You may not have a good enough email. But emails like yahoo, aol and hotmail are usually really good. And you will be able to create one and said it in the setting you be able to show who is coming.
