Look in your phone book under "Dance Lessons" or search on the Internet for local classes. Even if the closest dance school is ballet/tap, the dance teachers there might be able to recommend a ballroom-dance teacher for you. If there aren't any classes in your area, buy a DVD of ballroom dance lessons and tango in your living room!

I learn ballroom dance by finding the ballroom dance class nearby or else i will study through online by watching the videos. First of we should know different styles adopted in this dance and we should learn the basic of dance namely postures,spins and turns,foot position, dance position ,directional movements etc.,Then finally we need to be mentally prepared for this.

There are many ballroom dancing classes available nowadays and searching online for a dance studio in your area should produce some options. Look for a teacher with a good resume.

The best way to learn is to take classes. There are many places in larger cities that offer classes. Some smaller cities will offer them to. Look online for them.
