How do you install a window motor on a 2005 Pontiac Aztec?

You will need to remove the door panel. Then drill out the rivits that hold the window motor in and remove it. Then you can bolt the new one in.

To install the Window Motor you have to take off the door panel, and pull the bad motor out. Then you put the new motor in exactly as was.

You have to take off the door card first. Look for all the screws and pop screws. After this get a door card slim jim (at autozone or advance auto parts) take the door card off. You will then see the window motor in the middle of the door. Remove and repeat.

The best thing to do is to take the door panel off and look inside. You should see the motor and it is only there by two bolts.
