How do you hook up a sub woofer?

Not all sub-woofers hook up in the same way. You may have outputs on the back of your stereo receiver especially for a sub. If so, hook it to those (if they have RCA plugs, put some on the end of your speaker wire. Some subs need to piggyback off of your main speakers.

I would use gold connection cables. You will need a seperate amp to handle the power. The sub runs from the amp to the speaker connection.

Select the subwoofers & select the place for keeping subwoofers. It must be powered by amplifier. Low frequency or bass sounds are the most omnidirectional of all the audio frequencies you can hear. Next hook-up cables between subwoofer and the stereo system (use a good quality of a cable).
