1 unopened bottle of hydrogen peroxide, 1/2 cup baking soda and 1-2 tablespoons of hand soap. Mix and lather on dog immediately before chemical reaction wears off. rinse with warm water. Works better than tomato juice, worked great for me. Good luck, and keep smiling!

Surprisingly enough, there have been good reports using tomato sauce to bathe the dog with. The acidic nature of the tomatoes neutralizes some of the odor, but you need to do a "tomato bath" then a regular bath then a repeat of the process for it to be most effective.

Wash the sprayed area in tomatoe juice and let it soak for awhile. When done, rinse with lukewarm water. Repeat process until smell is gone.

Give him a bath in tomato juice. This is the best way to get the smell out of anything, and it also works really well. You could even try adding a little bit of baking soda to help with the smell, since baking soda is an order eater. Either of these methods may take a try or two.
