How do you diagnose bronchitis in a dog?

Only a veterinarian can fully diagnose a dog with an illness, but indicators of bronchitis are coughing, wheezing, and a snoring sound when breathing, especially when sleeping. Luckily, bronchitis in dogs is easy to cure and with cough suppressants and intibiotics, the illness should seem to subside in a few days.

If the dog has a cough or is producing mucous, you can assume they have bronchitis. I would get the dog to a vet immediatley to make sure it is not pneoumonia

The only one that can really do that id the vet otherwise it may be caused from something totally different.

Look for signs of difficulty in breathing, or a cough that will not go away. The dog will gag as if to throw up, but instead coughs up mucus.

Bronchitis in a dog has many symptoms of in humans. The dog will have labored breathing and chronic cough. The treatments for bronchitis are very effective. These symptoms, however,can signal other problems.If in doubt, visit the vet.

Dogs, like people can be diagnosed with colds by checking for a dry nose, is the dog hacking. I would assume the same for broncshitis.
