Human Resource managers are responsible for the overall management of the Human Resources department. This level of management is accountable for the overall compliance of policies enforced in a company, resulting in the hiring, retaining and termination of employees. Human Resource managers must stay abreast of regulations impacting all aspects of employment, and make key benefits decisions for the company.

Human resource management is the acquisition of people who fill the needs of the company. It sees that employees are trained per legal requirements and often to develop internal staff to fill higher level positions.
