Without direct, proactive involvement of the parents, juvenile crime is likely to continue unabated. Therefore, outreach efforts should begin with initiating an open and honest dialog with community parents on the issue. Likewise, juveniles also require compelling alternatives to criminal activity such as recreation, employment, and extracurricular educational opportunities.

A good way of combating juvenile crime is having some sort of recreational activity for the juveniles to participate in. Maybe you could open a youth club and have various activities.

It's necessary to have many visible patrol cars around. Also, police must be strict regarding rules such as truancy and curfew. More available activities also keep kids out of trouble.

First of all the parents need to take some control over their kids. It starts from the time they are toddlers, they have to have limits. you cant expect to let kids get away with things when they are small and then expect them to change when they are teenagers. They learn how to get over.

Juvenile Crime has seriously gone up recently. Good ways of dealing with this is by making sure there are enough teen recreational centers in town or places where to the teens can hang out to keep them off the street.

The absolute best deterrent of juvenile crime in any community is the watchdog approach. Let them know through Watchdog signs and improved lighting that they are being watched.
