How do you compute bond price and issuance price?

I am trying to determine the right price for the bonds that have accumulated interest.

The easiest way to compute savings bond prices is if you go to savingsbonds website. There is a calculator to the right where you plug in the type, the date of issuance, and the denomination. It will compute how much it is worth, the interest accrued, and original purchase price.

Bonds can be calculated using the fair value formula and interest formula. FV=Present value(1+i)n, i= stands for interest rate, and n stands for number of years. Interest= FV/PV ^ 1/n
