First you will need to buy a caulk gun, a caulk tool or backer, some silicone/shower caulk, and some caulk removal tools. Remove the old caulk and clean the area you need to caulk. Put the caulk into the gun, apply it to the tub, following the instructions. There are also caulk-strips you can buy instead of gun/tool/caulk.

Use a razor blade to remove the old caulk. When the tub is clean and dry, apply the new caulk with a caulking gun around the edges. Then use a caulk spreader or just get your finger wet and smooth the caulk down into the edges.
