From your net pay, deduct your federal taxes, your state taxes (if there are any) and your FICA and SSI, which leaves your net (take home) pay.

You need to look at your pay stub. Normally it will list the deductions you take. Normally there will be deductions for federal tax, state tax (if there is one), any health care premiums you pay out of your paycheck, and 401(k) deductions if applicable.
