How do you best deal with marriage and in laws?

Have you asked your spouse why there is a fricton between you?? Your spouse should understand their dynamics if you don't. (Your spouse has known them longer! ). Once you figure out WHY there is a problem the problem itself can be addressed.

I seek my wife's advice to deal with them and the result, i have a mutually admiring relationship with my in laws. I think this is a sure-shot way to keep the relationship comfortable. This way you know what to expect from them and they too know you can be trusted upon leading to a very healthy & warm relationship

It is difficult at times to deal with in-laws. I find the best approach has been to pick my battles and keep a level head at all times.

If they are extremely out of line tell your spouse that he needs to talk to them about it. If you just don't get along avoid them as much as possible. When you have to see them be cordial to them.

The best way to deal with the in-laws is to avoid them. If you can't avoid them, simply avoid any inflammatory topics around them.
