What you need to do is download it from the browser from a website or take the little memory card on the side of the PSP and load music onto that. The PSP reads it and you plays it back. You need to get a Micro SD to SD converter.

You will need to get a mini-USB cable. Plug it into the PSP. Your computer should detect the PSP. After that, it is as easy as copying the songs to the /Game/Music folder. Then they will show up in the "Music" part of the Cross media bar.

The best way to add music to a PSP is to first buy a "PSP Value Pack." This pack will include most of what you need, but you will also need a memory stick and a USB plug. Plug the devices together through the USB plug and then create a folder and put music onto your PSP.

Usually a PSP comes with a USB cable that you can connect to a laptop or desktop where the mp3/ music is located. All you have to do is attach the usb cable and look for the location of your music and then transfer or copy them to your PSP.

You can copy it from your PS3 if you have it from the music directory there. Or you can connect the usb to your computer and put it into the music folder on your PSP.

This is fairly simple. First, you need to get the right music file, like an mp3. Add this to your psp formatted flash memory, and then you should be able to search for it on your psp.
