They can be great pets if you have the time, money, and space for them. But, because they are exotic pets they will require special care.

I think a pot belly pig will make a great pet. They are very easy to house train. They are very smart animals so you can teach them tricks to.

Pot bellied pigs are a lot of work. They start out small, but grow to very large sizes (up to 300lbs!). They have long lifespans of up to 15 years, require a lot of food and may need pricey veterinary care (most ordinary vets are not able to care for them properly). Make sure you do lots of research first!

They are very smart alot like dogs. They can learn commands and tricks. Also they can also learn how to use a litter box or ask to go outside.

Pot belly pigs are wonderful pets!! You can potty train them just like cats! They are very sweet and smart! They may have a scent to them though!

I hear they are very good pets, much like dogs but bigger and louder. There are also pigmy pigs, they are smaller and possibly furrier? I have never had one, but there are great things said!

While they make great pets, they get VERY large, and can bite. Train well from a piglet, and raise around cats/dogs. They require a large outside area(partially covered), a mud-pit to roll(REQUIRED), and often like to be indoors where it's warmer. They like beds and games. Make sure your vet is aware and can help if needed(must make house-calls).
