As much as all of us desire human contact with someone we care about it is also true that most of us value our independence. Partners who are too needy usually smother their partners with demands for too much attention or time from their partners due to their own insecurities.

It is a strange thing. Men want women to need the man and make the man feel like they are in control of the relationship. But on the other hand if the woman is TOO needy, the man feels like the woman is acting like a child and loses interest.

When you become too needy most men become annoyed. They want to take care of a women, but when all the woman does is want more it gets annoying.
