Make a fertilizer tea and it can be added into the soil as a part of watering, just choose a fertilizer that is safe to use up to harvest

If your tomato plants have flowered the best way to fertilize them is with pellets. If you use a higher concentration you risk burning the plants.

This is the stage of the tomato plant that applying fertilizer should be done with care to avoid dropping off of the flowers. It is better to use the liquid type of fertilizer cause you can control certain factors like acidity upon making the solution yourself. Fertilize each plant at the base only once a week.

For fertilizing flowered tomato you use mixed fertilizers (NPK) with low content of nitrogen, and higher content of phosphorus and potassium. Good choice is NPK 12:12:12 fertilizer

I typically use a liquid mixture such as miracle grow mixed with water. You want to be careful and not mix it to strong. Then gently pour it at the base of each plant. You shouldn't fertilize your plants more than once per week and water daily especially when blooming.

I would recommend a product such as Miracle Gro when you water your tomatoes, or fertilizer spikes you put in the ground around the plant so it absorbs into to the roots.

use a liquid mixture and apply only to the base of the plant. Do not spray the leaves or blooms. you may also use fetirlizer sticks which are inserted into the soil at the base of the plant.
