I would suggest buying flea medication such as Frontline Plus or Advantage. You can also take your collie to the vet and have them treat him/her with a flea bath.

You can either take your dog to a vet and have him sell you some flea medication, or go to your local pet supply store and buy some there.

Use some sort of flea medication. Flea collars are okay but chewable tablet or liquid applicants work better. Most last 1-3 months before a reapplication. Bathing your dog in flea shampoos and then drying him off is a good way to go if you can't afford meds.

The most accepted and effective sources for flea prevention include frontline, advantix, advantage, or revolution. There is also an advantage multi which would treat heartworms as well (as would revolution also).

You never want to shave a collie but it will need daily flea baths and the drops for the back of their neck to help ward them off. You may even require a flea bomb for your home, definately want to get fabric spray repellent.

Get some shampoo and/ or conditioner that is specifically for fleas at the pet store and then start using something to protect them from future fleas too.

First give them a bath with a tick and flea dip. Get some Advantage and apply to them. Then you can use garlic and Brewers yeast sprinkled on their food.

I use Advantix which is applied topically to the dog's neck where it's absorbed into the skin and distributed through the oils of the coat. Lasts 1 month or more.

A flea shampoo that kills not only the adult fleas but flea eggs as well is necessary. A 30 day flea medication will keep them from returning.

There are many medicines in the pharmacy for treatment of flees, also ensure that you give your collie regular baths using anti flea shampoo and this will help solve your problem.
