Prune in late winter or early spring to remove unwanted growth- this is a very hardy plant in zones 6-9. She loves well drained soil, full sun to partial shade. You really can't go wrong with this lovely, hardy addition to your landscape!

The Chinese trumpet creeper produces beautiful colorful flowers and is easily cared for by regular water about once a week and providing average sunlight. These plants like to be fertilized, but only during active flowering periods and no more than twice weekly. Over fertilizing can cause these plants shrivel into a slant position.

Your Chinese trumpet creeper needs to be planted in partial shade to full sun. It grows best in zones 6-9. Each year prune off any unwanted shoots. This should be done in the spring or in the fall.
