The easiest way would be to disconnect the electrical. Open the hood and located the cars battery. Locate the black cable leading up to the battery. Using a adjutable wrench remove the black cable from the battery. Wait a few minutes and simply reconnect the cable. You should be good to go.

To reset the computer on a Chevy Suburban you simply disconnect the red battery cable from the post, give it some time to reset (about 10 minutes) and then reattach.

Disconnect red battery cable from post then re-attach. If this dosent work its best to look up the year of the vehicle and ask a local mechanic at an auto parts store.

Well the safest way to do this is with some type of factory style diagnostic tool like a code reader. Otherwise you can remove the battery connectors for a few seconds and it should reset. However this will reset every other components like your radio and can cause problem's with the security system.
