The front forks have only a few items that can be repaired at home. Its best to replace the entire fork.

You can use clear finger nail polish is your front fork as a scratch in it. If that was not your problem then the best thing you need to do is to replace the whole thing.

Well it really depend on what exactly is wrong. , Typically if your fork is bent or broken it is best to just replace the hole thing.
