Make sure the water is off. Then there are several options. You can cover the tubing or replace it. I prefer to replace it. Take off the tub and get ready to put a new one in. A new one can be purchased at Loew's, Home Depot, or your local hardware store. Then weld the pipe in. Done!

1) Initially, measure the pipe length which is going to be replaced. 2) Get the necessary fitings correctly from your local shop. 3) Cut the pipe for its appropriate length 4) Instantly, clean the surface from dust. 5) Now solder the pipe together using necessary chemical solutions 6) Leave for few minutes 7) Check pipeline for leakage using water

When installing a new sink it is often a good idea to change your sink stops. Cut off the old ones, and install the new ones using two wrenches to tighten them on to the nubs of pipe sticking out of the wall. Next, you will want to add new hoses from the stops to the faucet. It's quite easy.

Old copper weakens with age and could easily crack during the install. It would be best to replace the copper all the way back to the stop valves.

Measure the length of pipe you will be replacing. Purchase the proper amount and the correct fittings. Your local hardware store should be able to help you with this. Cut the piping to the correct length and solder together. Make sure to turn off the water supply to you home before you remove the old pipe and install the new.
