Well if you are not a certified professional, then you will not be able to do this because freon is a dangerous material that can only be handled by certified proessionals.

Freon is not dangerous. Our Govt has deemed that it be controlled and is only sold to people with an EPA certification.  add a comment

The everyday person cannot do this without breaking the law. Freon is a very hazardous controlled substance and can only be handled by certified personal. Call your local heating and air conditioning specialists HVAC For a charge they will be able to take care of your heating issue and dispose properly of the freon

You need a hose that connects to the low pressure line of your heat pump and to the Freon tank. You will need to purge the air out of the hose so you don't get it into the heat pump system. You will probably need to hire a professional to do this since individuals can't buy Freon anymore.

You should be able to pur more freon in the heat pump by hooking up the hose to the pump that comes with the freon kit. Then you just add the freon just like you would if you were going to do it on a car. It is easy but can be some work to get the hose on.

Well you just add it into the compartment. Put it in slowly. If you are still unaware of how to do it, consult a professional's help as adding freon could be damaging.
