You will have to apply to the federal immigration bureau about obtaining a green card. You'll be required to take a test to prove your commitment to this country and to prove you speak and read the language.

Consult the State Department guideline. Make SURE you follow the criteria expected of you on your student Visa. It is a very good idea to show the State Dept that you have ties to the community, ongoing education, and you are fulfilling the practical training that your F-1 status includes.

As long as your visa has not expired and you are still in the country legally, get an immigration attorney to file the necessary papework for you.

If the people stay in the same country for more than 10 years then they can apply for f-1 visa with green card. They can marry a woman or a man of the same country then apply for the visa with green card. The country of birth can be in the same country so that we can apply for visa.
