When replacing the factory speakers you will need to remove the paneling that covers the speakers. This means the door panels and the panels in the rear. Once you have access to the speakers then remove them, buy new ones of the same size and reverse the steps to install.

It depends on how loud you want your system to be. You can just buy a new deck to install, and some new speakers. But if you want it loud, you should buy a subwoofer, and an amplifer. You will also need an amp installation kit if you go that route.

Well you can install it, by getting a hold of the amplifiers. Take the existing system out and then put the new one in. You have to wire it correctly.

You will need to purchase a new head unit. You can get adapter harnesses which will convert from common stereo brands (such as Sony) to the car manufacturer (Ford) which makes the installation process very straightforward

Get some high z to low z converters to plug the factory stereo outputs into an amp. Get an amp with built in crossover. Connect amp to battery and ground to car seat rail. Get subwoofer for the rear and nice midrange and treble speakers for the doors.

The wires are probably still good; new speakers can be found at almost any retail store or automotive store, as well as after-market head units and adapters.
