They usually make cleaners for all types of wood. go to your local grocery store or similar and look to see if they have a cleaner specifically for engineered hardwood. Murphys usually works for all kinds of wood and it leaves a good finish without being too oily. You can also ask the local hardware store what they think.

Be careful with heavy furniture on the wood. Scratching will occur from sliding, put pads on the furniture bottoms. The is a product made by orange glow that works very well on the wood.

Be sure to stay away from all purpose cleaners and anything with alkaline acids in it. Wipe the wood in small semi circles or with a cloth.

Make sure that you don't have anything abrasive sitting on the surface of the hardwood (like sand or bleach), sweep and mop it regularly with warm water.

Dry sweep and dust mop. Clean occasionally with a damp, not wet, mop. The floor has a factory finish. Don't use any chemicals unless the manufacturer says it is o.k..

Keep the floor swept and free of debris. You can use a broom or a vacuum cleaner. Periodically, mop it with a damp mop and dry immediately. Do not allow any spills to sit on your floor for long periods of time.

You care for engineered hardwood much the way you would regular hardwood flooring. Sweep it everyday, and only wet mop when necessary. Use a product like Swiffer Wet Jet.

Do not use ammonia as most of these wood products contain sealant. Use a cup of vinegar to a gallon of water to clean and dry thoroughly. Read all instructions.
