Go to your local greenhouse and tell them what your problem is and they sell sprays and powders to get rid of them. They would be able to tell you.

Regular hosing with water should dislodge the mites. Lacewings and lady beetles are a biological control. In the fall and spring use a dormant oil spray. Use insecticidal soap in the summer for control. Be sure when using oil and soap controls to get all parts of the tree. Use of Dicofol will kill mites since it is a miticide.

A 1:1 mixture of rubbing alcohol and water should do the trick. Spray the infected tree focusing on the underside of the leaves. If this does not work there are miticides that can be purchased from you local garden supply store, which should do the trick. Common miticides contain pyrethoids so look for products with that ingredient.

Spider mites can be controlled by periodically hosing the tree with water to wash off dust. If the plant is healthy without dust, the predators will keep the Spider mites away. In emergency situations, pesticides known as miticides can be used. Fertilize cypresses lightly once a year and hose them off a couple of times a year during summer.

The best way to get rid of spider mites is Vick's Oil or a horticultural oil spray. Spray when the temps are over 60 degrees and follow directions on label.

Try washing your cypress with a strong spray from a water nozzle. Late summer is when mites are worst, and they love dusty, dirty plants. Try to keep dust off your tree with the nozzle. Pesticides aren't really called for, unless mites seriously affect cypresses in your area.

You can get rid of spider mites by spraying Neem seed oil solution on the tree. Neem seed oil is made from the Neem seeds so it should not be harmful to your tree.

Spider mites can be removed from a cypress tree by regularly spraying the tree with a hose. This has to be done on the underside of the leaves because that is where they thrive. Do so every week to rid of any leftovers.
