Natural ways to eliminate these annoying pests usually include vinegar in the recipe. One half cup vinegar and a tablespoon of Dawn dish detergent provides a deadly mixture.

Gnats, although harmless, do become a nuisance in the home. They can be killed with almost any type of flying insect killer. If you have many or a swarm of them, it will be necessary to locate the source in order to eliminate them.

Take out your trash and wash your dishes regularly. Rinse dishes well, dispose of soda cans, and hang fly paper near problem areas.

Smoke drives away gnats. Lighting a citrnela candle or an insect torch that gives off smokeand smell would send them on their way.

Gnats are attracted to the smell of vinegar. If you have gnats in your house you can get a jar of vinegar and put holes in in the lid. The gnats will go in the jar but won't be able to get out.

A good natural way to get rid of gnats is not put vinegar in a jar or some kind of container. They will be attracted to the smell and drown. You can also try bug spray for flies.

Gnats are very attracted to sugary things. If you put a piece of fruit on top of a stick or pole, the gnats will pay attention to that.

Are you referring to tiny fruit flies, sometimes called gnats, in the home? If so, they thrive on fruits and vegetables left out, this is where they lay their eggs and breed. Try to keep fruit in containers and the fruit flies will not have a place to breed.
