To easily finish off a knitted piece , use the specified crochet needle stated on the yarn instructions. Use a single cast off crochet stitch to close up the last knitted stitches. Use the close up technique all the way to the end and weave the last pieces in place.

Casting off can be done easily by stitching two regular knit stitches and the sliding the second stitch over the first stitch and off the needle the repeating.

When you have reached the last row of stitches that you want to knit you must begin to cast off. To start, knit a stitch like normal, but when you pull the new stitch through, let it fall off of the needle. Continue with all of the stitches until you come to the last one and pull the yarn through.

You need to bind off/cast off the live stitches remaining on your needle. Knit or purl (according to your pattern)the first stitch and the next stitch, then lift and slip the first stitch over the second. Repeat until you have one stitch remaining, break off the yarn and pull through the remaining stitch. Careful not to do this too tightly!

Finishing off a stitch is called "casting off." Knit two stitches. Insert your left needle into the first stitch you knitted. Pull your left needle up and to the left so that the first stitch is pulled over the other and off the right needle. Knit another stitch. Repeat.

To bind off, knit 2 stitches, pass the first stitch over the second stitch. Continue to knit and pass over stitches. Clip the yarn and pass through the last stitch
