How do I find out about grants for single parents?

Go to the official US government webiste, USA. GOV and it will list all the grants you may be eligibel for.

A grant is federal or private money intended for a specific use by individuals engaged in specific pursuits. Grants are not given for being a single parent. Generally, grants are intended for the purpose of assisting an individual or a group achieve something for the greater good. Parental status does not enter into the decision making process.

Looking on the internet would be a good start or asking your local collage about getting a grant. There is also website that you can apply on for grants.

Check web searches online as they have a ton of information. Local support groups, like churches, should have a lot of good information to help you out as well.

The easiest way to do this would be to use a search engine (like Google) and search "grants for single parents." You could also call around different schools/colleges and see what kind of financial aid they offer.
