See your regular doctor for a referral to a neurologist, and to be rule out non-neurological diagnoses. There may be good neurologists in a group practice in your local area. Teaching hospitals and large medical centers usually have large neurology departments with many specialists if you can't find one locally.

The best way is to look up neurology support groups and websites and ask others opinions. A group of previous or current patients will know who is the best.
