How do I decide the value of clothing I am donating?

I don't know what to claim on my taxes.

When you donate clothing, for US income tax purposes your deduction is based on its fair market value. For used clothing, most tax return preparers would look to the prices at which a thrift or consignment shop would resell the items,

You need to find the equivalent value of the clothing. To do this you could do something as simple as checking the average selling price for the item on eBay.
