How do I connect a bluetooth phone in my Jaguar?

I can't seem to find the connections necessary to successfully connect my bluetooth. I drive a Jaguar XJ-series, 2009 model.

Have you checked to make sure your phone is "discoverable"? This usually involves entering into the bluetooth settings of the phone and choosing to allow the phone to be discovered. Also, your phone should have a specification of what Bluetooth services are available. Make sure the type of Bluetooth connection you are attempting is supported.

Is your Jag blue tooth accessible? Sorry if that sounds like a stupid question, but why would you want to connect your blue tooth to a car?

On your car, go to 'find devices'. On your phone do the same. They should find each other and sync automatically. Depending on the firmware version of your phone the process may be slightly different. Consult your user manual.

It should connect automatically. Just make sure your phone is on and that discovery is turn on. Look in your manual to find out what the security code is.
