Sometimes their temperament changes, they might act grumpier than usual. They become lazier. In the day before giving birth they usually stop eating.

In the 24-48 proceeding delivery, a bitch displayes nesting behavior. She will prepare the area she intends to deliver the pups by scrunching up newspapers and blankets. Or maybe she choose your bed or couch cushion and tear it up accordingly. You will likely notice a restlessness by the bitch.
