Teaching a guinea pig is similar to any animal. First you must reward the animal when they complete simple tasks, like walking towards you. After the animal learns that this process produces a reward you can move to longer tasks. this is the best training method.

You can teach your pig to go around in a circle for a treat; search the internet for videos that can give you training tips.

I have three piggies and have taught them all to jump, sit, roll over and much more. Soon they will be moving on to walking the tightrope. My problem is, they still don't undersand their own names. So when I call them, they don't come.

From the sound of your post, you only have 1 piggie - piggies are very sociable creatures and do not thrive well if kep in isolation. You should look at finding a friend for them, preferably a rescue piggie as there are many in need of new homes.

Why ??? They are not supposed to be there for your entertainment !! As a responsible pet owner, you should be providing an environment that is suited to your animal, not forcing them to learn unnatural 'tricks' - wise up and don't be so cruel !
