When you place your whites into the washing machine, supplement your usual washing powder with a bleach-based formula, such as Vanish. This should restore your whites to new, but it will fade any other colours, so make sure it is a plain white wash.

Apply a stain treatment product to any areas that are discolored prior to washing, such as a shirt's underarms. Other methods include adding bleach, dish detergent, water softener or Borax to your load of whites. Be sure to wash whites in hot water, and don't mix colored clothes into the same load of laundry.

Soak them in a tub full of oxi clean overnight, then when you wash your whites from now on place a cup of oxiclean in the wash.

Use good old fashioned bleach. If your clothes are delicate try Spray n' Wash, I use it and it gets out just about everything.

The best way to get whites white is to wash them in water with bleach in it. Or you can dye them white.
