I would say you soak a cloth in soap and try to wipe the mark off if that doesn't work I know that acetone works effectively just add some acetone to a wet cloth and rub the cue ball, works absolutely perfectly or maybe alcohol wipes would work like acetone.

Let the billiard ball soak in a small container of warm water mixed with a small amount of bleach overnight. The next day rub the billiard ball with a soft cloth to remove the chalk marks.

I like to polish my billiard balls with WD40 several times a week. Not only does it make them look nice, it removes all traces of chalk marks and I think it makes them faster, as they move around the table. When I don't use WD40 to clean my billiard balls, the game isn't nearly as fun. Hope this helps!

You can use a commercial cleaner/wax for cleaning them, however, that can get costly. Try using normal soap, water and a little elbow grease. If they are extremely dirty, you ca put them in a dishwsher to "steam" them and use a gentle cleaner such as Clorox Cleanup, or Softscrub. Make sure they are totally dry before playing again.

Removing chalk marks is an easy 2 step process. First use a lint roller or double sided tape to clean the area around the stain on the table. You will then use hot soapy water on a damp rang to lightly scrub the stain out. Once you complete use a vacuum nozzle to suck out any left over water.

Try soaking them in warm to hot water with a small amount of dishwashing detergent added. After around 15mins scrub with a non-metal scourer pad. This should remove the marks without damaging the balls.
