Get some pictures of what you are trying to do. Purchase a plain jacket in a similar style/color. Add the extra zippers, sparkles and decor.If you have trouble locating some of the parts, take your pictures into a craft or fabric for some expert help.

If you are a medium to advanced sewer, you could probably find a commercial pattern for a similar jacket and make adjustments to it where necessary. Be sure that you have the appropriate sewing needle and thread to sew through vinyl or leather! Not all sewing needles are made for heavy fabrics.

To make a"thriller" jacket, you will need a faux leather jacket, some faux leather contrast fabric for the trim, and two buckles. Cut the contrast fabric three inches wide and sew bands around the body,waist, wrist and arms. Place and sew buckles at intersecting position of the arm and wristbands.
