How can I guess what my baby's hair color will be?

Looking at both parents is too obvious, but usually accurate. Grandparents may be a revealing option to discern a baby's haircolor, not only immediately after birth but in years to come as hair color changes.

There is no way to tell for certain until they are born. You can look at the parents for a hint, as well as all other family members. If a lot of family members have the same hair, then the odds are good that the baby will, as well.

This is a matter of genetics. If either parent has dark hair, the child has at least a 50-50 chance of dark hair. If both parents have dark hair, the baby has a 75% chance of dark hair.

I know neither your, nor your better half's hair color. If you are having black colored hair, and your husband/ wife is having brown colored hair, it is possible to determine the child's hair color by simple calculations in genetics.
