How can I go about removing a musty smell from furniture drawers?

1. Leave a scented dryer sheet in the drawer. 2. Leave a fragrance sample in the drawer. If you're using a moist towellete with the fragrance, keep it in the packaging and tear off an end. If you're using a sample found in magazines, just open it up.

First thing is to remove the drawers and try to discover where the smell is coming from. If you can't locate the smell, clean and disinfect the furniture. Make sure to keep the furniture in a dry environment or have a dehumidifier to keep humidity away.

Sometimes, furniture that has been stored in attics or basements can get a musty odor. Open the drawers to air out and sprinkle some baking soda inside to help absorb the odor. when closing them, you can put small cedar chips inside to prevent further smells.

Sometimes you can put a box of baking soda inside the drawer and close it for sometime to get the smell out. Then throw away the box. You can also use a spray deoderizer but the baking soda works better.
