First, offer to help take care of animals for free. Or you can offer to do walking tours and help people meet the riders, which gets you a chance to see things up close.

The best way to get started is to attend a rodeo school. Check out rodeo websites and there should be schools listed for the event you are interested in. It's very hard unless you have been raised in a rodeo family. This is a good place to start.

Well, first of all, you better off learn the rules and regulations of the rodeo and learn how practices are conducted. Then, you must start practicing and get yourself acquainted. If you can find yourself a good place to get started off, that is where you will be able to build your experience.

Lots of Professional Rodeo members begin at college in NCAA competitions, others begin in local events held annually in smaller centers. Many rodeo athletes go to camps to improve skills as youths before they are accepted at NCAA schools on scholarship. Others simply sign on to compete and succeed or fail based on their skills.

Most rodeo stars begin as small children. As rodeos have special events called mutton busters where children the age of 5 to 7 ride sheep at the rodeo and make the event a fun competition.

Well if you really do enjoy rodeo, then you need to go to a club and ask them what the fees are for attending their next event. Join the next event.
