Burning a combination of sage and chili pepper has worked for me in the past. Though it smells awful. There's also using a mirror turned away from you and saying 'burner be burned' to reflect ill will back on the sender. Hope that helps.

First of all, you would have to first determine what kind of curse it is that has been cast and perhaps, by whom. By establishing exactly what kind of curse it is, you have a better chance of counteracting it with the appropriate spell that is required to neutralize or shield yourself from the curse.
