CRC error means, that your hard disk is not working properly. Go in the explorer with a right click on the drive to check the hard disk (menu extras).

You have to choose run from the start menu and then type CMD to open a Windows Command Prompt. Then in this new window type CHKDSK /R and press enter. If you try this on your system drive (most often C:)then Windows will need a restart to complete the operation.

This error normally means that there is a problem reading or writing data. If you are copying files from one location to another on your hard drive, the hard drive may be faulty. If you get this error when copying data from a CD, floppy, usb drive, etc then the device or media may be faulty.

You can use a special software like copy any file or Iso Buster, Unlocker or others . Just search the Internet for this.

This generally means that you have a bad file. You may want to restore the file to a known working copy.

If it occurs when the computer is starting up, A CRC error is often the result of a failed memory chip. Replace the memory and try to reboot. If that doesn't work then it's probably a problem with the mainboard, which will likely be prohibitively expensive to fix, considering the recent drops in laptop prices.
