How can I find out which builder built my home?

I purchased my home as a pre-owned home and would like to know who built it.

All paperwork for your home should be filed with your local county's recorder's office within the court house. They should be able to answer all your questions.

Contact your local government building inspectors office. With the address, parcel and/or plot they should be able to pull the permit for construction. If they do not have that information your county or city clerk may have those records. The construction permit will likely be the only document that lists the builder.

It should be listed at the local courthose records department. They have to get building permits and other legal things before they build a home or construct buildings. That would be the first place I would look. If not, contact your insurance company, they might know the answer. You can even try your local town hall.

Check with your local zoning records office. The recorder office can also trace your home back to the beginning and much of the paperwork connected to it is public information.

Well, I think you can check this by property documents. There should be any name in the paper. Or you can take police help too
