How can I disable "quick browser search"?

Use an anti-spyware app such as Spybot or Malwarebytes. Those programs can normally remove stuff like this. Make sure you update the program before scanning. Also clear the browser's cache and internet history. I would recommend CCleaner for this. You could also reset Internet Explorer or disable un-used FireFox extentions.

It depends on what browser you are using. The quick browser search is often a toolbar, or some other setting that goes to your default browser.

The quick browser search is a kind of spyware mostly affecting the browsers like Internet Explorer, Mozilla... etc. They can be removed by installing suitable anti-spyware. Also by clearing the private data and cookies of the browser will be required.

get Firefox, best on net, it is also FREE. You will never find a better browser. Firefox has better features and security on the internet. Hence,the browser speed is much better than any broswer you can get.
