Most local libraries have appraisal value for collectible items. Be careful though because appraised and actual selling value are often different, you may want to ask a dealer.

To determine the value of a Topps baseball card, you can take it to an appraiser and have it valued. The price will change on the apparent condition of the card, who the baseball card is of, if it's signed or not, and the year of the card, among other factors.

First, separate the collection by 1050 and 1060. Once this is accomplished then divide by team. Now that you have arranged all the cards in a sensible manner, proceed to looking up the value of each card either by book or on the internet. Happy hunting.

There are many sport card guides which can give you the approximate value which they deem it at (best and most popular magazine for this, is Beckett's). There are also many websites and appraisers which you can take the set to, and they will give you an approximate value of the sets.
