Exercise is one of the best things you can do at this time of the month. Do not stay in bed and think about the soreness in the breast because it will feel worse. The soreness is natural as it is related to breast feeding. You will not stop this soreness happening, be active it takes your mind off it.

The body retains more fluid when a woman has her period and this causes the breasts to be a little fuller and more sensitive. I hear it is a good idea to avoid chocolate and caffeine during your period. Also, I would recommend aspirin as it is an anti-inflammatory.

Taking ibuprofen a couple of days before your period starts, and continuing to take it throughout the course of your period. Or, talk to a gynecologist about birth control options to regulate your cycle and testing for endometriosis.

Decrease the amount of caffeine you are drinking a week before your period. Do not drink soft drinks, coffee (hot or cold) and tea (hot or iced).

The best bet would be to try out Ibuprofen. Many medications made for period pain can also cause nausea. You can try meds such as Midol but Ibuprofen works best.
