They are square in shape, thin, and realatively small. I'm guessing they're couple of ounces. But what they lack in size, they make up for in taste. They're smothered in grilled onion bits and can be quite addicting! Try 'em! They're in the frozen foods section at Kroger, too.

They are generally smaller than the palm of one's hand. They were probably made small as a marketing factor, plus the smaller patties make for faster cooking.

White Castle burgers are small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. The patty is 2.5 inches across. They are made small because they were originally invented in a time (the 1930s) when smaller was preferable and cheaper. But due to their popularity, they are still made in that small size today.
